Saw that Michael Hrabal played his first game vs Norway. Czechia won 8-1. Hrabal had 20 saves.

"Dans Locmelis is easily the best player on the ice for Latvia." He is their Captain and is centering the first line.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

Dan's Locmelis has scored both goals for Latvia today. USA leads Latvia 7-2 in the 3rd period.

Looks like this will reduce / eliminate his chances of being on the ice on Friday for a home Hockey East matchup vs UConn…..

Decreases chances for Hrabal, as his team will keep playing, but increases chances for Dans, as Latvia is done. Correct?

Yes. The UConn folks are saying their best player should be available on Friday. Maybe he plays for Canada, I'm not sure.

^ Matty V reports that Dans will rejoin UMass "later this month." I hope that is not the case.

Even though the event is not over, he has been named "a Player of the Tournament."
