None of which happened before LA flipped the puck at him at the close of period #1 on Friday. He didn’t like it as evidenced by him bringing it to the officials attention. Maybe should have left a sleeping dog lie…….or not😁

Watched the 3rd period and they were playing so well until those two questionable calls. That hooking was a 50/50 call depending on the ref but that goalie interference was trash. Umass player was trying to avoid him and never even went into the crease. Goalie went out and initiated the contact. Tough call and Carvy has some good post game quotes on it.

Leonard proved he’s a legit scorer on those pp goals. How did his parents and brother let him even consider BC? Even if he didn’t want to go to UMass, should have been anywhere but BC.

^ He wanted to play in the Bean Pot…..should have gone to Northeastern and he could have at least felt what it’s like to win one😁

Tough weekend related to the pairwise and standings, but overall a lot of positives to take away. Final scores were indicative, but they played tough with BC. And frankly with the way the first 28 minutes of Sunday's game went, they could have easily been blown out in Newton.

Time to take care of your own business going forward. Other teams will win or lose, nothing we can do there... but if we don't win our share, there won't be an NCAA Tournament... and this team deserves to be in.

Well. I watched. We scored 6 goals and won 3-2. Love those HE officials!

^ In the Saturday game against UNH, we scored two goals and UNH one, but we lost 3-2. Love the continued incompetence of the HE officials!

Big games vs Lowell... need to sweep, but we know they will put up a fight.

Nice to see a decent sized UMass contingent at Tsongas tonight. Hard fought game. 3 would have been nice but I'll take the OT win. At least no goals were called back tonight. :D

I’m an Ufko fan! Maine lost, too.

Hoping to get to the Mully tomorrow.

Pretty much everything broke right for us tonight on the out-of-town scoreboard. We went from 13 to 10 in PairWise. We probably still need 3 points tomorrow to stay there.

^ Didn't have this on my dance card. Hard to conceive. Well, good for us!!

College Hockey News @chnews ·5h
The only team between 8 and 17 in the Pairwise (entering the night) that didn't lose in some way was UMass, which won in OT to move up to No. 10. Omaha moved up from 18 to 16.

Bummed I couldn’t get there. I wanted a shot at winning the autographed Cake Makar (or Jonathan Quick) jersey for my grandson.

I’ll take a 3-point W as consolation prize

UMass is down 2-2 after two periods. They need to come back strong in the 3rd period for that to happen!

Go UMass! 🏒🥅
