What happened to the big kid!!??
Who's in goal against Providence?
I think he was pulled at the start of the 3rd after giving up 4 in two periods.

Big Win at Providence! Game winning goal with under a minute to go 3-2 . Providence has 18 SOG in P1 ; 5 SOG for the last two (2) periods.

Kifiuk flipped the puck at a UM player after the buzzer in a big time AHole move and then he hid behind the refs. Punk move!!

Big win last night... gritty too, having to come back twice. A weekend sweep would be massive this early in the season, though I'd still be quite happy with a split.

Agree, they flipped that game completely from the first period play! Great win on the road.

Down 1-0 / a delay before P3 / clock rundown has ended/ neither team on the ice nor officials……they are pretty anal about teams being ready to go on time…..penalty anal….

Tied up late P3
Heading to OT
Lost 1 forward to injury; 1 forward to Game Misconduct and were missing a defense man from Thursday who went out late on Thursday.

Just got back from the Bill!

What a GREAT night! The big loud crowd saw a thrilling overtime win after UMass trailed most of the night.

Seemed like the break between the 2nd and 3rd periods was unusually long, but I don’t know why.

During the Big Y promo, a guy in the student section took his tee shirt off….the crowd cheered…then booed when he put it back on, so he took it off and they cheered again. This went on for several minutes. Then another guy did o and we had dueling tee shirts guys for a while. The back and forth got the crowd going ahead of the a nail biter of a third period.

There was a post game skate. What impressed me about that is that several players came back on the ice for pics, autographs and just plain fun with kids who were out there.

My grandson told Taylor Makar that he was a big fan of the Makar brothers. Taylor says…Oh yeah? So why are you wearing a Pasternak jersey? He told him that he has an Ava jersey but it’s too small now.

Ufko and Hrabal were gracious and fun too!

Quality win by quality players who play for a top notch coach/program. I don’t remember having a better time at a UMass sporting event!

Providence player was cut badly near the end of the second period. They were waiting for him to be attended to between periods before resuming the game. I guess there was an ambulance at the Mullins between periods people were saying.

Damn. Hope the player is ok. Any idea who it was/what the update is? Also how were they cut? I listened to CHN podcast from a few weeks ago when they talked about what happened to Adam Johnson. Scary stuff
