1-1 after 1. Makar had the lead goal less than 90 seconds in.

In each of the first two games vs. Merrimack, UMass had 19 shots on goal in the entire game. That included overtime in both.
Tonight, after ONE period, shots are 17-12 for UMass.

2-1 loss. First time since 2015-2016 that UMass lost the regular-season series to 'Mack.

GWG for the Warriors in the final two seconds of the second period.

Another game where UMass took too many penalties. Hopefully they can get that figured out during the break. The talent is there to make a run in the 2nd half.

Merrimack is a really good team. I saw both home games and think we did better last night. They have a lot of experience as their lineup consists of seniors and post grads plus a few underclassmen. As the season progresses, I'd like to think we're catching up to them. Lately, Taylor Makar with his size and speed is the most fun to watch.
