Merrimack was better than expected. They have a bunch of seniors and grad transfers on the roster. I watched the first game at the Bill. Didn't see Saturday's. Felt they out skated and out played us Friday, but we scored 2 sweet goals. Our power play will be good this year with Morrow and Ufko at the points. Our goal keeping has been fantastic. Can win a lot of games with a great power play and goal keeping!
I'd appreciate if some one would explain "goal keeper interference"?

Will let the rule book explain…..” Most commonly, interference on the goalkeeper causes the disallowing of the goal. Rule 69.3 defines what happens when an attacking player contacts the goalkeeper inside his goal crease. Goals will be disallowed if they are scored in the following circumstances: When an attacking player contacts the goalkeeper – whether deliberately or incidentally.“baseline47 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 11:58 am

I had good view of Merrimack's 2nd goal in game one. Plus they showed a replay. The Merrimack player was definitely in the crease (i.e., the blue area) and in contact with the keeper. WTF?? Any one else see it differently than me? Is there a caveat to the rule if the puck is in the crease?
Carvy didn't mention or complain about the call during his after the game comments. So, maybe it was a good goal.
Thanks

Morrow pushed the Merrimack player into the goalie.

There are no easy games in Hockey East. Merrimack beat BC last night 3-1 at Merrimack. The return game is Saturday at BC.
