I imagine that the NHL experience will guide what happens, as they are even more in a bubble.

There will only be hotel stays for UVM and Maine.
Teams will get in and get out sounds like.

It appears that hotel stays before games are mostly verboten this season, except for UVM and UMO.

The new roster is up and we have 3 transfers. Gicewicz is a grad transfer so I know he can play this year. Do the other two (Wait and Harding) have to sit a year? I don't know if hockey follows the same rules as FB and BB.

Traditionally Harding and Wait would have to sit, however there has been no announcement on waiver applications/statuses for them.
I imagine they filed for waivers and I have to think their chances of getting them are probably good because UMass really wouldn't have enough forwards to play the season otherwise. We'll see what happens but I'd say it's a good bet they'll be able to play.

Coach Carvel said in his regular e-mail that Hockey East play is expected to begin Nov. 20. The league will make it official after the schedule is finalized. I assume no fans and no OOC games.

Whoever runs the hockey east twitter account is kind of a douche. I guess we'll have to wait for the schedule and more details.

Maybe they hired the Twitter jockey who staffed the Denver Pioneers men’s hockey account?

RIT just cancelled their 2020-2021 season. ECAC teams one by one cancelled their post season participation what seems like forever ago last March and that started the ball (puck?) rolling on everyone cancelling.

If the Ivies don’t wind up playing this season (which is possible), it’ll be an incredibly limited schedule for the remaining ECAC schools. Maybe Colgate, Clarkson, Quinnipiac, RPI, St. Lawrence, and Union wind up playing each other four times to have a 20-game schedule.
It sounds like Hockey East will have a 20-game conference schedule with two games against each team.
