Great news!!! I think this is a huge benefit for recruiting in the long run.

For those more in the know.... where is Taylor at this point vs where Cale was? Skill/talent-wise I mean.

(Not that I'm in-the-know, but...)
Stats aren't as gaudy as Cale's, but they both got experience at the same levels.

As a side note, having had a daughter who played a few years of travel soccer and basketball, I applaud their parents for the time and financial commitment.

Taylor is going to have a very tough act to follow obviously. His Jr A stats aren't as gaudy as Cale's, and he's also a forward not a defenseman. Taylor is not playing in all of Brooks' games this year either, though I do think the plan was for him to come to UMass next year. Taylor is bigger than Cale, but he's not going to be the same type of dominant force his brother was/is. I would not put a ton of expectations on him, particularly early. He's more likely to be a four-year player than Cale, who left after two and could have left after one

Not sure if anyone noticed, but this article is from July of 2019 and I don't think we will see Taylor here until the 21-22 season. Regardless, I am thrilled to see another Maker in a UMass uni.

^ I intended it to be similar to the KAEO threads in the hoops section. I just changed the title, hopefully toning it down.
