At this rate, he'll likely be a top candidate for, if not the winner of, the Norris.

From the above release:
Meanwhile, Makar's three game-winning goals - registered Nov. 9 vs. CBJ, Nov. 12 at WPG and Nov. 29 at CHI - were the most by any rookie defenseman within a single calendar month in NHL history.

The tone Carvel takes like 25-30 seconds in is the least-Carvel thing I’ve ever heard

Has there been any info on when the Banner Raising, etc. will take place on Friday? Before the game, during one of the intermissions or after the game?

Carvel is such a class act. Proud to have him steering the New Mass ship in Amherst.

^ Thanks. I asked tonight at the BB game and was told 6:45 for the ceremony. It will be great to see Cale again and he is just tearing it up for Colorado.

For those that didn't see... Makar was injured in the Bruins game after Marchand laid a clean hit on him behind the Colorado net. Didn't look too serious but the NHL injury reports are intentionally vague.

Still out with the shoulder injury. They're not rushing him back.

In the meantime, he's got a long way to catch up to Justin Tucker, but he puts on a bit of a show with the NHL rendition of "Jingle Bells".

Nice goal from Makar tonight in front of his former teammates.
