I have a 2 y/o whose mom is working all weekend, otherwise I'd be in Buffalo.

Wish I saw this earlier I could've got out somewhere with ya. In the same freaking boat. She works every 5th weekend too. Unreal. Anyway, go U!

Minnesota-Duluth is such a strong team. So hard for UMass to get anything going.

Need to score on this PP. Still a chance.

Nope. Duluth was the much better team. Thanks for the ride.

0-3 with less than 1 minute - Great Season, but we are toast. UMD is for real, kudos to them. Nothing but superior for all 3 periods. We fought hard.

It was tough, but UMD is a well made, focused team, built to defend primarily.

I am very proud of UM. Very proud. What a climb from obscurity to this mantle, battling for the National Championship in....hockey?

Hopfully, Carvel does not have NHL aspirations, as we are now a destination program, with a renewed fan base. IMHO, our attendance does not reflect interest, as so many games were during the 5 week intersession, when UMass is closed to most students.

Very proud.

Great season and couldn’t be more proud; The better team won the final game of the season. Our guys will now be remembered as one of the best teams to represent the University in any sport.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Agree. UMD played a great game, and I wonder if the team was a little out of gas from the OT win on Thursday. Regardless, thanks for a great season

UMD was the better side - bigger, stronger, faster, etc. I knew UMD was bigger, but their speed surprised me. We were playing for the National Championship. We're a young team; maybe we were tentative?

Oddly enough, the game reminded me of the BC game at the Garden in which BC outplayed and out hit us. BC was also bigger than us. Sometimes size matters.

I think we have everybody back except for a few seniors and Cale. So, we have a good nucleus for next season plus a few recruits.

One of the announcers said it...score first and play defense. That’s the UMD way. They executed to perfection.

That said I couldn’t be prouder of UMass!

Win lose or draw...they’ve set the example for all UMass teams to follow!

Agreed - better team won.

Have tremendous pride in all this team has accomplished! If Carvel stays we will be in the hunt every year.

The FrozenFour was a great experience and have a 2+ video. Posted it to twitter and is only the first 45sec and cuts off the count down, the teams lining up and the UMD cheerleaders skating out. (Please excuse the miising period and space between Championship. Never
