And now Lucas Mercuri is announced. That makes six that are (to quote MikeUMA) "officially official."
Giving them their own day in the sun.

Any idea of the anticipated final count.

48 points in 30 games, even in prep school is high level for a defenseman. 39th best overall North American skater which ought to equate to a second round draft choice. Carvel keeps getting quality recruits. Give him a raise. Oh, we just did!

These players look like really nice recruits to my eyes. I'm no expert but, wow. Carvel is amazing.

And today we conclude (I think) with Ryan Ufko.

Ryan Ufko, 15-year old! Defenseman commits. Looks like we will see him in 2022!

* That should do it. Good class and well balanced with 6 forwards/centers, 3 defense and 1 goalie.

What about Noah Ellis , D 6-2 192, from Iowa, NHL draft pick-LVGN ?
Best of the anticipated Frosh due, I believe, so I hope they are not done!

Their is a post on the Des Moine NAHL site that shows Noah Ellis signing a letter of Intent dated Nov 12.....

Its going to be fun watching the hockey program continue to be strong. What a job by that staff. Can't believe how quickly they turned the program into what it is. Great staff and bunch of kids

I like how Carvel handles recruiting. He brings in graduate transfers which brings experience and desire to win championships and it gives the younger players some time to develop. I was surprised that the class has 10 new members but I guess with all the grads, transfers and players going to the NHL that the large class is to be expected. Good luck to them all.
