Hockey has a couple of other places that list recruits ( forget the names at this moment) partially based on commitments of 14 years old and 1 of them has lists of about 15 players per class and of the recruits due to arrive for ‘21 - ‘22, it was like 2 of the 15 showed up…..and then there are players like Lopina and Morrow, who are not listed at all for UM - name get announced in August/September and end up the best player in the Freshman class. It’s like opening a Christmas present in September, to see who is actually on campus.KahunaK wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 10:52 am This has a list of all the recruits- of course this is always subject to change!

Re: Recruiting -- 2018 and beyond
To the people who are more educated about it, how does the hockey recruiting budget compare to other sports? I understand there are different numbers of players but a lot of these kids are from far away. Do they rely more on scouting services or are they actually seeing these kids on a regular basis to recruit?

UM guys get to play in the Garden during Hockey East, BC guys don’t……lol. Should have picked Northeastern - they play in the Beanpot and Hockey East Final 4!

Re: Recruiting -- 2018 and beyond
Does anyone know if there were any 2021 stragglers who didn’t come for this season, but who could arrive for 2022-2023 I know that Noah Ellis fits that bill, and is the only NHL draftee on the 2022 list. I recall another NHL draftee from the commits from a few years ago…KahunaK wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 10:52 am This has a list of all the recruits- of course this is always subject to change!

^ There is one kid - Eric DeDobbelaer - who has been on the roster all year but did not play. I know nothing about him.
Also, I love that the incoming tender is 6'7".

Incoming goaltender has terrible stats. I'm worried

the staff must have seen something in him….I think they should be able to coach him up.

The backup goalie to Levi at Northeastern is available. I have no idea how good he is but he is probably looking for someplace where he can start or at least challenge for the starting spot.
Just looked up his stats. Started 7 games and played 20 minutes against us when we scored 4 on Levi. 2.05 GAA and a 9.34 save %. He made 11 saves against us with no goals allowed. He's just a freshman so I'm all for it if Carvel can get him.Brad Elliott Schlossman

NCAA transfer portal is going to heat up this week. Northeastern brothers Ty and Dylan Jackson, who starred at Dubuque in USHL, are in the portal, as is Devon Levi's backup goalie T.J. Semptimphelter.

^ No, but if could have a Murray-Lindberg situation for the next 3 years with Pav and this kid we would be in great shape.

I wish he was a couple of years older. A former Harvard commit, the 17 year old has moved up to better leagues twice this year. He's played in 31 games with 27 goals and 24 assists. We probably won't see him for a year or two.St. Andrew’s College Hockey
