Games 5 & 6 (2015-16): Capital City Classic

We play Maine this Friday and either Yale/Princeton on Saturday in Trenton, NJ. Should be a fun tournament. If UMass ends up playing Yale it will be a good measuring stick for just how good this team is this year. Yale is a top 15 team. GO UMASS!

Another thrilling win for the Cardiac Kids! A 5-4 win over Maine in OT. We're now 4-0-1 on the season and still undefeated! Pigozzi scored the game winner, while Kravchenko continued his hot streak by scoring two goals. Yale beat Princeton in the night cap, 3-1, so we face Yale tomorrow night for the Capital City Classic Championship. Should be a great game. Yale is very good this year and will be a good test for our young squad. Go UMass!!

I was stuck in traffic on the way home last night and was able to listen to the entire third period so a Thank You to the guys for preventing me from developing road rage. This team has a little something special this year, if they can improve their defense as the year goes along they could be the surprise team of college hockey this year. Go UMass!!

The Bulldogs are really good. Totally dominating us. Best defense I have seen in a long time. We can't get anything going.
