Speaking of Army, UMass beat ‘em 3-1. UMass dominated play.

Decent crowd too, despite the 4 pm start and a student section that was essentially empty due to it being the day after Thanksgiving.

4-0 win over BU in a game that had three UMass goals and 2 BU goals overturned for goalie interference.

Nice win against #11 in their building.

Only UMass win today.

BU had three game misconducts…..what caused the little doggies to be so angry? Will they miss Wednesday’s rematch in Amherst?
And they kept their Too Many Men on the Ice
streak alive.

I'd just like to point out that in the Hockey East era, now including 90 head-to-head meetings, UMass never had a shutout win over BU until tonight.

Also hadn’t won against BU in ten (10) games; 0-8-2.

Wow. I knew the series history was overall embarrassing but I didn’t know that.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

excited for tonight. Hoping that aggressiveness carries over. to be honest all that goalie interference from last game is a good sign. need to go hard to the net . need to build on this and move up the standings

When the switch is turned on, BU is tough. But the switch is funny though, when you have an almost full roster of NHL players, they play when they want to only. Saw it even tonight. Spot UMass 2, score 4 unanswered.

Up 2-0 in the 2nd before BU scored 4 unanswered to win 4-2.

Nice crowd on a lousy weather night.

No ‘too many men on the ice’ penalties.

To it looked like UMass was in the driver’s seat before BU broke through with less than 3 minutes left in the 2nd but then BU scored 3 in the 3rd to pull away.

The guy that should have been suspended from the Saturday incident was the difference maker last night. Oh well.

Gotta have a VERY strong 2nd half if we're going to have a chance at the NCAA Tournament, or even a good seed and chance in the HE Tournament.

We knew Sobieski was gone. Several Twitter posts tell us that he has had quite a month with Youngstown. Here's a little detail:

Defenseman Kazimier Sobieski of Deerfield, Mass., who played 5 early season games at UMass, is in transfer portal and drawing Hockey East interest. Has 4-3-7 in 6 games with Youngstown since leaving school.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

Will be flying to Phoenix for the Desert Classic next weekend. Should be a good test versus #14 Cornell. Question for the forum…I bought tickets for the weekend, Fridays game against Cornell, and the Championship game on Saturday. In the unlikely event that we lose on Friday, is there a way to exchange or sell and purchase tickets for the consolation game?

^ I’m guessing that your tickets are good for both games, each night.
