I think I've been fairly consistent about asking people here to stand behind what they say. This reinforces that mantra.
Opinions are good. Malicious lies are bad.

I know this is a newspaper and politics story, but the parallels extend here with the way people register and post their comments.
If somebody here were to cross the line really far, and a lawsuit were to ensue, just want everyone to know that I'm not taking a fall for what someone else says. You are responsible for your own words.
The likelihood of that situation happening here is very remote, but I'm getting my stance on the record, again.
