First time / long time, it doesn't matter. Any tips in the jar are appreciated.

I have given what is, IMO, a small amount each year for awhile now, but I would 100% support a paid site. I have no idea what ike's costs are, but we have dozens of ACTIVE registered users, and hundreds of occasional users. It seems to me even $15-$20 per YEAR would 1) cover the board costs (and maybe a homecoming round at Rafters!), and 2) eliminate trolls and the like - though that hasn't seemed to have been much of a problem of late.

Okay that's it for me. Getting ready to head off to Amherst for the FB game with 2 kids who are NOT sick with the flu.

Appreciate the suggestion, but for a lot of reasons we're not going to a paid service model.

Thought I would bump this thread. Board updates reminded me it's time to send some coin to Mike for the great resource.

Thanks, Bubba. That reminds me- if anyone is up for reading a little bit about where this site currently lives in the physical world, this came out last summer:

Parts of the site's functionality took a hit last night / early this morning. Board was down.

We appear to be back up and running now. Thanks, as always, JJ, for your assistance.

Now's a good time to remind y'all that this whole site is an out-of-pocket expense for me. We're free of ads and don't use paid subscriptions, so the only source of income to help defray my costs is your help via donations.

Just think of how nice it is that this is a place where you don't have to see:
