Crazy stuff after reading the article. Truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Not a fan of the BG or the writer of the article as he's a UMass hater.

Yep - sounds like a mess. No word on if these issues are across women's sports, or just softball.

IMO - Hohler is an equal opportunity hater, witness his tear down of the Harvard women's hockey coach.

That would be the same Harvard coach whose brother was UM baseball coach for thirty (30) years…….might not be a real separation from UM

Call it a hunch but Thorr will be okay. He reported it at and they would have canned him months ago if it was an issue.

It is just a new generation of player empowerment. Imagine if this era had been around for some of the former UMass women's coaches. Joanie O was called the female Bobby Knight and had her lawsuit issues.

Hohler is aptly named. :D I'd take anything he writes w/a heavy dose skepticism there are usually 3 sides to any story and Hohler's version is frequently misleading if not totally erroneous.

Interesting article states Thorr’s salary is $341,000 meanwhile Bamford makes S702,728 !

That was a completely needless detail in the article.

May well have been needless but found it interesting that Bamford made so much more $ than Thorr
