Good point. I chose slugfest since there were 29 hits and UMass pitchers only issued 4 walks. However, Siena walked 14 guys. either way, pitching continues to be the clear weakness of this team

^ Weakness, it's an actual atrocity! Over the last 6 games they've given up 84 f'kn runs or 14/game and miraculously managed to win 2 of 6! I'm going to make a donation this weekend to the baseball program and I expect Reynolds to get some pitching help! Right now high school pitchers are better!

I went down to the game on Sunday. A lovely day, but a brutal loss for the guys. After some really impressive defensive plays early in the game, they booted the ball around on a double play, and then botched a pickle in the 3-run 8th for Mason, and couldn't tie it in the 9th after getting a couple runners on. The next two series are at first place Davidson, and then home vs second place VCU. Let's see if they can grab a few wins and finish strong against GW.

I am planing to go to the game tomorrow. However I don't know how many of the games they will get in. Forecast is for a thunderstorm starting around 3 this afternoon. We had on around 6:30 this morning and it is cloudy out now plus there is rain in the forecast for tomorrow. We shall see.

Went to the game and stayed until the 5 th inning when it started to rain. We were behind 5 - 1 when I left.

Same score - back on ESPN+ after the rain delay. Bottom of the 6th….looks like a single camera behind home plate…

Yeah. I sat next to a couple of players who were charting the game and talked with them. The coach does not have any scholarships for the next 2 years. Must have used them this year.

Does womens softball have none as well?
