Offering this and paying for this are two significantly different issues. With the NC$$ March Madness Tournament gone, the largest source of revenue for D1 Athletics is reduced significantly. Couple that with the looming recession, schools or conferences may not be able to afford scholarships for these athletes.

To pile on to that, what happens to the imcoming class of scholarship athletes?
