All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

^ Especially if they served the liquids that accompanied the great pizza in large pitchers!
And that was a VERY long time ago.

^ Traveled past it for four (4) years heading to UM….. and then traveled past it for eight (8) years heading to games from the time it closed until they tore it down!
Re: Field Hockey
I remember the Chianti bottles on the tables with candles in them and the wax dripping down. Ah, the good old days!
Re: Field Hockey
We beat Maine 3-2 on OT yesterday. One of our goals made ESPN's Top Ten this morning.

UMass just lost to VCU in the semi-finals - 2-1, in OT.
Re: Field Hockey
I have a question. I saw on twitter yesterday that we were about to go to a shootout vs. the Riverhawks. The game was 2-2 after two overtimes. I found the game easily on ESPN+. Each team gets five one-on-ones vs. the goalie. It went to the last shooter (for us), who scored giving us the victory.
The question: All the attackers used just about all of their available seconds trying to approach the keeper - who comes far out of the goal - and fake her out and then get an edge to take a shot. There is physical contact. The Lowell defender was quite aggressive about coming straight out. I was wanting our attacker to just fire away, as there seemed room (like in ice hockey) to find a corner. Does the stick or the ball not make that possible? Or?
Anyone?
