UM softball is greatly improved, but the team will really be tested this weekend with three games at Fordham. The Rams won the A-10 title the last couple of years and were picked to win it this year. UM is currently 16-0 while the Rams are 15-1. I think UMass has to win two to be league champs.

KO with another KO!
Please let her stay injury free for the next three years.

Looks like KO has quite the future ahead of her at UM. Great recruiting!

Put up a five spot in the bottom of the sixth. Lead GM six zip in the top of the seventh.

Move to 21-0 in conference play after a doubleheader sweep. One more tomorrow against George Mason. If they win, it will be the first time the team has won 22 games in a season in A-10 play.

Minutewomen finish A10 season undefeated, but don't get chance to set record of 22 conference wins as final game against George Mason rained out. Will play either George Mason or St. Louis Wednesday in A10 tournament.

A-10 playoffs opener for us: Ho-hum. We score in all at-bats for an 8-0 mercy killing (5 innings) of St. Louis. Meg Colleran tosses a 2 hitter, Jena Cozza drives in 3, and Kaycee Carbone hits one out.

Must beat Fordham twice on Saturday to win the A10 championship.

It's ovah. Lost to Fordham on Friday and Saturday. Made a nice comeback attempt today but lost 6-4.

Seriously. :) Fordham walked her intentionally with the bases loaded during our comeback attempt. She had hit a two run homer earlier.

Turned out to be a very smart move. I think when they swept Fordham 2 weeks ago they walked her 6 or 7 times also.
