Don't know if any of you guys might be interested but Davidson is leading Texas A & M 5 - 2 in the 7th inning. The game is on ESPN 2. Last night Davidson lost in 15 innings. Best of three advances to the college world series in Omaha with that starting on the 17th.

Davidson was ahead 5 - 2 in the 8th when they made two critical errors giving up 7 runs and lost ending a very successful season.

I believe that if they had not beat us twice (one in extra innings) on the last weekend of the season, they would not have even made the the A-14 playoffs.
Good for them!
Good for them!

Good to see an A 10 team advance that far. If I can remember correctly I think UMass made it to the College World Series at least once.

I know they made it in 1969, the year I graduated. I was in Kansas during the CWS and still regret that I wasn't able to get over to Omaha to see our guys play. I don't remember a lot about the team but we had a guy named Bob Hansen who was a great hitter.Berkman wrote:Good to see an A 10 team advance that far.
