On NBC now: New Balance Indoor Grand Prix:

Matt Williams @MattWilliams_SN · 23m
Heather MacLean won the mile in 4:23.52 which is a new PR and the best time in the world so far this year. As has become her tradition she came from behind after the last turn

Olympic trials: Heather MacLean makes it a fast final 400 meters as she grabs women’s 1,500m heat two in 4:07.31.

"In a crazy-stacked 1500m semifinal, it’s Nikki Hiltz (4:01.40), Sinclaire Johnson (4:01.68), Heather MacLean (4:02.09), Cory McGee (4:02.09) and Elle St. Pierre (4:02.14) cruise through to the final…"

I'll do 400M and 800M sprints at the local track and it's definitely not at her pace and I am cooked at the end. Incredible how fast she is.

3:58+ for Heather, but only good for 7th of 11 finalists. She took the lead for a bit early in the third minute but couldn't sustain it.

Tough to run your personal best but finish 7th. Was a stacked field and unfortunately she made her push a little too early but still a very impressive performance.
