It was a lot of fun to witness this victory! My father and some extended family were visiting and I felt very proud of UMass football. They played tough and finished!

New Mex State is now 6-3, so we can definitely be more successful at the FBS level.

If we were in the MAC this year we would be right behind Miami and Toledo.

With this win over Army in West Point, UMass has clinched their winningest season since 2018 (with a FCS buy game to come next week). It's also the first time since 2015 that UMass has won two road games in the same season (W at BUF, EMU).

UMass has vs Merrimack (FCS, 4-3), BYE, at Liberty (8-0), vs UConn (1-7).

With 1 win from the last 3, Minutemen will equal total wins from 2019-2022. With 2 wins from last 3, Minutemen will equal their winningest season at FBS level (4-8, 2017 and 2018).
