No one who's followed the team for any time was celebrating at halftime. Trust me.
Not the way the refs were calling it.

overall, not really important but I watched the game on TV and I now understand what you guys are saying about the sound/music/fake cheering or whatever they play over the PA system before the snaps. How do you stand it, ear protection?
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

It makes for a terrible game day experience. I prefer to watch on TV at this point.

I watched the whole game and the announcers said that the refs blew 2 calls. On 2 pass plays we got called for having a lineman more than 5 feet from the scrimmage line. One of them said that is rarely called like that in any games he has done but never 2 in one game. One was on a touchdown play I think.

Should maintain our standing in bottom 10.

Yes both illegal men down field calls and both cost us darely. One was a huge gain, the other a TD. The refs were awful along with our defense. Puma was slinging it.

Toledo is one of the better G5 teams. If we had Puma for EMU or New Mexico those would have been wins. If we have him tie Merrimack or UConn then those are W’s the Atwood penalty basically killed the game for us.

We have a terrific band, dunno why they feel the need to play any music over the PA system.

Yeah we were back. After the game we drove up I 77 to I 40 in Statesville, about a half hour, and went to a restaurant called LOGAN's ROADHOUSE. Very popular and reasonable. Usually very crowded and have to wait. Only had to wait 15 min.

I went to one game last year and won't be back until they fire the DJ and let the band play. Everyone knows we have a terrific band and they are a huge part of the atmosphere and enjoyment of college football. Playing any of that garbage, especially at the ear piercing volumes they do, is what keeps me from attending games, not the product on the field.

Actually, that's not the case this year. In our 6 losses we have been better in the second half 4 times and worse only twice. I think yesterday was a case of too many key players on D out with injuries and the guys got worn down. The only other game was Auburn, and they just wore us down in general.

In the last several years we tended to be worse in the second half because we had no depth (and not much tlent).
