2023 Game 4: @ EMU

Like Coach Brown and the team are doing this Monday, time to move on. EMU is 0-2 on the season. In their opener against Howard they needed two kick off returns for td's and a safety to win 33-23, while only generating 285 yards of offense. In their second game against Minnesota they lost 25-6 while generating 152 yards of offense. So far in 2 games their offense is averaging 218 yards and 11 points. Thats why it is a little surprising they open as 12 point favorites. That seems to be a big number. Do the sharks know that Brady will get the start on Saturday?? If Puma or Davis is healthy, this will be a great opportunity to get our 2nd win of the season.

If he's starting, I give UMass a 0% chance of winning, unless they don't pass the whole game. He will have no time in the pocket and will be sacked multiple times. Don't get me started on his passing: Flinging the ball without even looking at his receivers, same as last season. Need to get one of the QBs back or start Haston. Very winnable game.

Agreed.. 0% He has an FBS arm and below D3 decision making. If you know Puma and Davis are still a week away.. Have to start Haston. You don't have to burn his redshirt with 1 start.. and honestly if Haston has to Start more than 4 games because of injury.. who cares

That's actually a great description of him and I'd like to add Casula stinks with pocket passing QBs that don't run. He has no clue how to play call for them. With a decent OC, Olsen may be able to be decent but with Casula this is setting up to be a disaster.

Brown announced that Davis is healthy!!!!!!!!!!!! I would say that they should have moved Olson to another position but he doesn't look athletic enough for any at the FBS level. Hope he finishes his degree and moves on to a program that better fits his skill set next season.

That's good news. I still think Olsen has the chops to be either a backup or starting FBS QB somewhere but not here in this offensive system.
