what did you order Berk? I've heard that the crab cakes and the bang bang shrimp tacos are fantastic.

Not that my opinion means anything, but I think after we got down a bit late first half, and Puma was dinged up, I would have maybe had Davis come in to finish it out. No sense risking Puma further injury. Thought the OLine run game was decent, especially against their front, and KLA ran well. Overmatched a little, but I thought we did some good things. The team is much better than last season. We'll win some games

After calming down and upon reflection:
Auburn was caught completely by surprise on the first Umass drive for the TD. They did not expect the speed, efficiency and play calling.
It felt wonderful to watch.
When Puma was hobbled he should have been pulled quickly.
I know how bad that would have been emotionally but Davis should have been brought in. Davis looks good actually.
I know I know Sunday morning QBing!
Still, I was dissapointed with the defence. Could not stop the run and poor tackling.
This team is going to be good this year. IMO!

^ That is not Sunday morning QB'ing. Everyone could see that Auburn was off to the races once it was 24-7 and that Phommachanh was dinged up. No sense in keeping him out there, no matter how much he wanted to play.

The pick six and missed FG are the two plays that kept the game from being a push. I had hoped the defense would have gotten a turnover or scored for us.

I went to the game and share the same sentiments as many here.

I will say the Auburn fans are some of the nicest people I've seen in an opposing stadium. I was walking around campus with my UMass hat and shirt and so many people welcolmed me and thanked me for coming. Just genuinely friendly people.

Every game I’ve gone to as a UMass fan we’ve seen the same thing. It is awesome.

Went to West Point last time and was directed to a build where we had a full meal/buffet despite being in full UM garb! Some soft of West Point alumni event and although we weren’t greeted in numbers; nobody asked why were there😁

Things were going to get difficult for our D once our O couldn't sustain drives. I've been banging the "1 QB" drum for awhile, but Puma got banged up early and should have been taken out and rested early. They needed to avoid catastrophic injuries and almost nearly had one.

The final score wasn't a shock, though I was hopeful it would be a bit closer. Def some positives to take away from this game, and def some things to work on as well.

Imagine if you had Bama hat and shirt on 😬. I’d say things would be different.

How do we beat New Mexixo St and get blown out by Auburn yet today NMSt beat Auburn by 21?

It’s now November and not September and the teams both had roster changes and the coaches at Auburn did a better job of preparing their team than those at NMSU did 🙇‍♂️

Jerry Kill is an incredible coach and NMSU dominated Auburn for the whole game!
