New defensive coach
New defensive coach
Another of Springfield Central’s coaches is leaving to coach at his alma mater. Julius Walker is joining Valdamar Brower at UMass. Hope these guys help do for UMass what they did for Central.

highly regarded as a DB coach. nice get by UMass
Re: New defensive coach
^^ Strengthen the D first and give up fewer points...that way they don't need to be as offensive....
Seriously, I like that Brown got both of these guys on board. Maybe they can help UMass achieve in D1 what Central achieved in MA and grow UMass football into a nationally competitive program that showcases homegrown...especially kids from the 413....talent!

We would still lose 3-0 every game.

I have no worries about the defensive side of the ball with Brown running this program. Offense is a different story, I have a million worries

Agreed, but the O still needs to be functional for the D to succeed. If we have another season of constant 3 and outs, the D won't ever have a chance to be successful.
