UAB
UAB’s football program was dismantled a number of years ago. Then, within the past few years, it was rejuvenated. Today, they won a bowl game! Meanwhile there’s UMass…poor excuse for competitive football!

Re: UAB
What's your point here? Nothing else better to do on a Friday night in December other than to come here and make a dig at UMass? Did one of the players bang your girlfriend (boyfriend) or something?

I think his point is very clear; some institutions are set up to either legitimately build or maintain 1A football while others are not.

Re: UAB
Agreed, but the better comparison would be our independent counterparts that we all thought we were equal to heading into the season both bowling this year. Can’t wait to hear the naysayers on that one.

Re: UAB
That's a much better comparison.. we aren't because of:
1. QB
2. QB
3. QB
4. Line play
5. Play calling
Take care of 1-4 and 5 won't be as big of an issue.

You never miss a chance to disparage the UMass football program do you?JoleonLescottsHair wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 11:45 pmI think his point is very clear; some institutions are set up to either legitimately build or maintain 1A football while others are not.
So, do you know definitively that was his point? Or are you inferring this somehow?
Serious question for you JL, what's your end game here? In other words, if you could waive a magic wand, what would you like to see happen with the UMass football program? You don't have to explain why, just what you would consider to be the correct move/direction of the program. Just answer that please.

I would move back to 1AA (or D3) or drop the program entirely. But, you know that’s just me not missing a chance to “disparage” UMass.

Dumb User Name just likes to troll any supporters of Umass football. Isn’t there another place you can post your nonsense about Umass?UMass'96 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 6:03 pmYou never miss a chance to disparage the UMass football program do you?JoleonLescottsHair wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 11:45 pmI think his point is very clear; some institutions are set up to either legitimately build or maintain 1A football while others are not.

Are you sure you aren’t Max Page? I just don’t understand your trolling game and DM lecturing. Ah, yes, Max Page. You mentioned something about trolling? As far as “DM lecturing,” feel free to let everyone here know about all your black friends.Camby4Life wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 10:54 am Are you sure you aren’t Max Page? Re: UAB
Easy answer: Alabama vs Massachusetts. I have lived in both states and there is no comparison when it comes to college football. If the football team wins and not one player graduates, nobody cares.
