Hot damn, this thread is spicy! I like the passion from both sides. It’s been another frustrating, hopefully we can get a few wins under our belt next year.

You ain't kidding! Watching one arrogant dick call out another arrogant dick for being an arrogant dick is quite humorous.

Exactly DirSport. Some stats that jumped out to me: our D held the Red Wolves to 0-8 on 3rd down conversion attempts; we had 200 yds more of total offense than the Red Wolves and 25 1st downs for UMass to 11 for ASU. Ridiculous that we didn't win this game.

I'll never understand why we were throwing the ball on the 2 yd line. Throwing from the 2 is difficult. Olsen predictably got picked. Just bring in the heavy package and run the ball in from the 2. If you don't make it - take the FG. Had we done so we likely would've won the game.
That's on Casula.

My main observation is you hit the nail on the head: UMass's problems are structural (meaning we are putting square pegs into round holes). No matter who we bring in as HC, we still suck. and you were right: all the HC and coordinators had credible resumes prior to their getting hired. I have to ask: unless and until you pay the kids for their performance with incentives; what if anything can UMass football do to win a game?
