Game Seven: Buffalo
UB can score and pass which should make for an interesting game against Brown's defense.
Re: Game Seven: Buffalo
I think Defense continues to play reasonably well and we hold them to 31-38 pts. If Campiotti plays, i expect 14-17 tops from our offense. Prediction Buffalo 37 UMass 21

UMass could win this game. I don't think they will, but they could.
If the offense can move the ball and help with the field position battle I'd give UMass a decent chance.

Stop being rational, you'll upset some people.
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades

The football fan base might be more Jekyll and Hyde than basketball, and that's saying something. But honestly I give all the hardcore football fans a ton of credit. The program would be in even more trouble without the dedicated few.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 9:17 amWorcester_To_Amherst wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 9:01 am UMass could win this game. I'm going to be looking for less penalties in this game along with more creative play calling. I'd like to see some more passing on 1st down and 2nd and short, especially if Sullivan-Brown is back.

Re: Game Seven: Buffalo
Is 31-38 points good?
If they score that much, we have no chance of winning with our offense.
At least you have us covering the +16.5 spread.

I think it will be 31-20. Wish I could be more optimistic this time. I think offense will score one touchdown, defense will score one and due to good field position two field goals. If Dzuro can play, which I doubt, there’s an outside shot at an upset in the 27-24 realm.
Re: Game Seven: Buffalo
Agreed, if Buffalo get to 30 points, we lose. No way our offense keeps up with that.

Great read by Mahoney down at the goal line. Good instincts, that easily could have been a td
