Has to be a typo. That stadium holds 4K. It was homecoming for them to triple the capacity seems weird.dennisdent wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 10:59 am10/03/2022 SITE: North Andover, STADIUM: Duane Stadium ATTENDANCE: 12622SignMan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 10:35 amhttps://merrimackathletics.com/faciliti ... stadium/16dennisdent wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 9:17 am Merrimack had over 12,000 for their game against LIU last week. That will be more then UMass may have for a home game this season. Better, more entertaining product on the field. Who wants to watch UMass run the ball up the middle almost every play. Dzuro has been injury prone during his career and having him run the option was stupid!
That being said, UMass has been more competitive in four out of the six games ,which is an improvement over the past three seasons. Brown and MIller are trying to change the offense but between poor recruiting by Bell, injuries, and a clown in Casula. The only way UMass will win is keeping the other team to a TD or less...
Seats 3,500 - 4,000

Two years in a row is a pretty big typo:

I give MU all the credit for their football program and support.

Who fucking cares? No reason to get bent out of shape because a troll is boo-hooing the football program.
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades

I agree. I don’t like the way some trolls seem to denigrate the programs appeal and historic achievements because it was 1AA, not “big time” like the current version. Shame really. They must hate UMass football.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 12:39 pm Who fucking cares? No reason to get bent out of shape because a troll is boo-hooing the football program.

Re: Game 6: Liberty (Pride Day)
Kidding, no; not at all. The argument from some has been very clear that regardless of performance, a poor FBS team is superior to success at the FCS or any other division level. But, hey, I also believe the Social Security Act was a mistake and we should not have entered World War 2, so there’s that, I suppose. More importantly, did you know that Adlai Stevenson was 10 times smarter than Dwight Eisenhower?!

Re: Game 6: Liberty (Pride Day)
The capacity of the stadium is listed at 4K. Their game vs Holy cross had a listed attendance slightly over 8k. No idea how they measure or do that. Wasn’t trying to dismiss their support. They must do something for homecoming, since this game this year was homecoming as well.dennisdent wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 11:42 am ^

Maybe the stands hold 4K and they a lot of standing room? That would be a lot….TheInsider wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 3:35 pm Maybe they estimate how many people are on campus.. thus in close proximity to the game while its going on.. the close enough theory

Hugh Freeze leaves Liberty and takes on the Auburn job.
Baffling hire by Auburn.
