Whatever you say, dumb user name. Sorry we won today. You’ll have to shelve the anti- FBS nonsense for another year.
2022 Game 3: vs Stony Brook

Dont want to go overboard but NMSU and UConn got absolutely blown out today. Those COULD be wins and Temple is horrendous too.Camby4Life wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 7:41 am This was the game we all circled as the first win of the new DB era. Wasn’t expecting us to be underdogs at home for this one. The good news are the two future opponents that we also circled as wins are a combined 85 point underdog today.

Good day with a win. Just keep improving. It would be very nice to get a road win before Liberty comes to town for the next home game. If we keep improving, developing a successful passing hame to go with the run heavy offense. Think we have a shot against Temple, Buffalo, New Mexico State and on the road against UConn. Heck Arkansas State is a possible win as well.
Revenue from the A10 is disappointing and does not merit staying

On to Temple.. i think that will be close low scoring game.

Re: 2022 Game 3: vs Stony Brook
Really happy with the win. I was pleased that the offense came in with a game plan and stuck to it. Nothing fancy, but Campinotti did throw a bit, including one nice TD, and that kept Stony Brook from just stacking the box.
Defensively, we struggled a bit containing the outside runs and some of their short passes. We don't seem to have a lot of speed, and that will be a problem against better teams. The secondary came up big a couple of times, though, and that was the difference in the game. Other than the two horrid punts, special teams were decent, and we didn't commit a ton of penalties.
Not a thing of beauty, but this is a game we could well have lost last season. Hopefully they can build on the positives from this game, keep improving, and at least be competitive against Temple and EMU. It was a fun day. I thought the vibe in the stands was good, at least on the home side of the stadium.

I’m happy to see the guys and the staff get a win.
That said I can’t go too crazy over beating an FCS team. That’s what they’re supposed to do.
On to Philly!

Just ignore his posts, it’s easy to do. No need to waste time responding to the Silky Johnson of the board.ZooMass84 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 8:31 pmYes that gives him a chub. 125-7 combined. The schedule keeps looking easier by the week. Temple is starting a true freshman named Warner. Buffalo lost to Holy Cross.ZooMass84 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 6:42 pmDont want to go overboard but NMSU and UConn got absolutely blown out today.
