Kid had some big offers out of HS. The icing on the top of this offseason would be a couple more athletic OL and the DL from Florida State. A few more holes to fill especially on the OL but at least on paper they have done one hell of a job.

Add in the two (2) brothers of the transfers arriving as Freshman and it’s almost 10% of the roster……almost matches the number of QB’s

this is amazing, UMass has never had this caliber of 4 star players on the roster. i mean 6 Univ of Arizona players and the Jackson State kid who is absolutely platinum. Thanks Coach Prime!!!!

I don't know about 6-6 but I'll say this: based just on Portal transfers alone, we have more and better players than NMSU, New Mexico, Ark State, not to mention Merrimack. The 4 star guys we got are premium/platinum. If no one gets hurt vs Auburn, I think we have a legit shot vs Miami (oh), New Mexico (especially their roster is pitiful) and Ark State. the first 7 games with the exception of Auburn should be competitive. 4 of those 7 are at Mcguirk.

This garbage of "competition is good" is BS. Knowing who is playing and implementing your system is good...end of discussion.
