Spring Practice
Spring Practice
I know that yesterday was a big day with Frank Martin's introductory press conference. But no one has any comments on the first day of Spring Practice in the second Don Brown era?

Re: Spring Practice
There was lots of coverage on the practices in the morning yesterday via Twitter. DB did press stuff too.

Just watching Don coach and teach in this video has to make you feel better about where we are headed.

Re: Spring Practice
Has anyone mentioned spotting George George at Spring Practice? He's the one player who went into the Portal and is listed on the updated 2022 roster.

Re: Spring Practice
His twitter has a video of him kicking in the practice facility on 3/31 and about a week earlier kicking outside at McGuirk, but nothing beyond that.

While that is true, but I don't think he'll be back.

Re: Spring Practice
NESN will carry the UMass spring game which is huge news. Strong indication of support for the program and an indication of where people think the program is headed. Say what you will about Bamford, the guy really seems to work to get the brand out there in the public eye.
Can't even begin to quantify how excited I am for next year and the overall future of UMass athletics in general!

Signed with Miss. State.

It’s nice having grown ass men in charge of the big 3 sports programs at UMass. I like McCall and hope he does well in his career but I’m happy to be done with the pretty boy coaches.

Re: Spring Practice
Isaiah Rodgers will be at the Spring Game. Per his twitter feed, he has never met Don Brown and "wants to meet the legend."

Pretty cool seeing players from different eras coming together to support UMass.
