^ Love this quote from Donnie this morning: “The first thing that we had to do is practice properly"
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

^ I truly believe young coaches like MM & Walt Bell were severely lacking in this area as Coach Brown also said "I like my guys" so that tells me we had some talent to begin with!

practice properly
Walt Bell didn't have a clue about that concept or virtually any other concept. Just wish he spent less time watching TV and more time actually reading and studying. Only saving grace is Indiana hired him as OC thereby saving us a ton of $$$$. Still can't believe he'd been hired by a P5. maybe the AD at Indiana inverted the scores, he thought all the blowouts were in our favor instead of the other team's favor.

I'll be in Vegas this summer and will place futures bets on wins: over/under. I don't care what Athlons or any website predicts. I'm going with AT LEAST 2 wins. Possibly a lot more. We have a very favorable schedule with the only REAL P5 at the end of the year. A&M will blow us out at Kyle Field; I've been there and it's HUGE. UConn, NMSU and Stony Brook will be wins.

Have they said how they will run the Spring Game"? Many programs around the country are using it more as a glorified practice than a true 1's vs. 2's type of game. I guess at a program like UMass with a new coaching regime, everyone should be fighting for their positions on the team so maybe a true game in a competitive environment is exactly what they need.

Once the schools get done with their spring games there could be some QB 's who would want to transfer because they will not be the starting QB.

I watched the whole thing. Did not look like there were too many people at the game. They did interview Isiah Rodgers and Brandon London who returned to the game.

Gresh and the play by play guy did a good job pumping the tires of don brown and the program. The segment with frank martin was great, hard not to love that guy. Beautiful weather and a great official start to the brown era.
