That ship has sailed unless UMass gets into a P5 conference. Liam is on an NFL trajectory. His ties to McVay, etc.

Great for Liam! His UK offensive team was so well prepared and coached for being his first year. Future NFL head coach... :D

That would be a tremendous career move for Liam. At the tender age of 36, Sean McVay has already sent assistants Zac Taylor, Matt LaFleur and Brandon Staley to NFL head coaching jobs, and they have all had early success. I don't think we can say the same about the Belichick coaching tree.

Thanks, Floyd! You still going to hoop games? I've been to a grand total of two, and they won both.

This would certainly be huge for him.... and, if marketed properly, huge for UMass as well. Hope he gets it!

Gave up my season tix this year, but might try to hit one of the remaining home games. Maybe they should get you to all the games if they win!

Getting back into football with Don Brown back

The NFL and College game has trended towards younger HC's. Hopefully this helps Liam get a HC job sooner than later. When this happens, he can help us rebuild McGuirk.

Great news! Actually FBS college football is going with older, experienced head coaches these days. NFL is trending younger, which is good for Liam.

Lots of 50+ head coaches on this list:
