It will be his fault if he doesn't fix the situation.
Not going to lie: I thought UConn F*-ed up when they hired Mora Jr., but they are going to a bowl and we have another pitiful season. In DB We Trust!!!
UConn has a lot more talent than UMass. UMass beat them mainly due to horrible coaching on their side and dumb luck with Covid.
This!!! Total fluke win. The win in 2019 over a horrible Akron team that went 0 - 12, was all Whip players: Curtis, Emilus, Alley, who made the difference in that game. Bell replaced them with nothing.

Curtis never played again and he carried the team to that win vs Akron. It also was his only full game that year.

Please, DB should have realized like the rest of us who are not half as intelligent, that they plays calling was horrible and should have stepped in if he really thought it was a problem, he didn't, which means he was okay with the play calling and that Casulo was following his orders.

Why else would a head coach want to see his offense playing call on his team be a laughing stock. please supply me facts that the above is not true.

Does are head of athletics own any of this ( ryan bamford). maybe we need a change their as well and a new beginning from the top !!
I don't want this chain to become a ryan bamford discussion, just saying perhaps we need a change at the top.

Ryan Bamford is sainted in my book!!! He hired Carvel who brought us our only Division 1 Men's National Championship. (You don't count the FCS/1AA football championship).

^ He hired Carvel, Verdi and Martin.

You tell the members of the ‘98 NATIONAL Championship football team that they’re title doesn’t count.

Not diminishing the '98 1AA National Championship!!! It's just not the highest level of competition.

I just checked out of 2022 season after the NMSU loss. We blew a 10-0 lead and the straw that broke the camel's back for me was punting on 4th and 3 deep in their end late in the 4th quarter. Bay Area UMie really hit the nail on the head when he said that its a structural problem meaning no matter which coach we bring in we are going to suck.

Doesn't matter who the coach of this mess is; could be Vince Lombardi, Bill Belichick, Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney.......the result will be the same. NMSU has to be a win or we're going 1-11 AGAIN.
Bill Belichick could win anywhere, including at umass. Generally I agree though. The on field talent gap is massive every week, and we are usually operating at a coaching talent deficit as well.
Bill Belichick couldn't win at UMass. The talent level is horrendous. Until we get a half decent QB we are going to suck. The defense has kept us in games but you need to score TDs. Don't think you can give financial incentives to college kids to catch passes and run for first downs and TDs.

I only had a couple of beers Thanksgiving!!!! Jus sayin'......I'm all for the Zoo playing Big Boy football: it's the ONLY option for us now. Only Idaho dropped back down to 1AA voluntarily. We've got plenty of dough and we're an independent (there's no conference kicking us out). We can do this forever. I like the way we fought back at Ark State. The stars pretty much have to align for us to put together a couple of wins. even one win. Just cant get over us blowing a 10-0 lead over NMSU. It reminded me of the Maine game last year. And NOT going for it 4th and 3 late in the game I went ballistic. Just like Coach Gomer. When NMSU had that bye week right before us it killed us. We needed them banged up then the long flight.

Yeah there's nothing like college football. You can win Mens Hoops and all the other sports but college football is only 12 games then its over. 85 players plus a ton of coaches and people in the stands. Vegas betting etc. just don't know why it's so damn hard to win a frickin' game. just one game out of 12 not counting the 1AA game at home.

SteveMaz are you talking lacrosse or field hockey? Couldn’t be football. I’ll take 1 win (and Merrimack might not be the one win).
