Heard Lytle will be ready in 2 weeks!
Re: Game 11 - UMass at Army
Clearly a lot of improvements need to be made with the roster but much better effort today. Hope they can take this into the last game against NM State.

Re: Game 11 - UMass at Army
This game demonstrated why defense is important, the D kept UMass in the game with a chance to win in the 4th quarter. The offense has work to do but the playing calling and utilization of the available talent was commendable today. Penalties and turnovers hurt the effort but the team and staff clearly prepared well for this game and played with heart and pride which all we can ask for each week.
I also have to say what a class act the announcers were for this game.

We are all entitled to our own opinions regarding DB…..BUT there are ZERO Massachusetts players on Arizona this season and after a quick review - there are None from New England, 1 from NY,0 from NJ, 1 from PA.TheInsider wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 3:04 pm We already knew that. We need a pretty big upgrade at the skilled positions. Hopefully a couple of Browns mass recruits follow him to UMass.

Excellent announcers! Ross Tucker is really good and does his homework. That was an actual football game, haven't seen one in years from UMass. Not counting the pillow fights with Akron and UConn.wmmmfan wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 3:30 pm This game demonstrated why defense is important, the D kept UMass in the game with a chance to win in the 4th quarter. Recuits.. not an opinion since they have verbaled to Arizona..not current players.. LB Tyler Martin (probably no shot) and DE Jermaine Wiggins Jr.. definitely a shotTruBluMaroon wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 3:34 pmWe are all entitled to our own opinions regarding DB…..BUT there are ZERO Massachusetts players on Arizona this season and after a quick review - there are None from New England, 1 from NY,0 from NJ, 1 from PA.TheInsider wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 3:04 pm We already knew that. Wiggins father trashes UMass regularly on the WEEI morning’s so that would be most amusing if DB comes and Wiggins Jr follows.TheInsider wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 3:39 pmRecuits.. not an opinion since they have verbaled to Arizona..not current players.. Yeah it would.. outside of Arizona I dont think he had a lot of P5 interest.. Tyler Martin was committed to Michigan and when Brown went to Arizona he flipped.. maybe he's committed to playing for Brown.

I agree. The team has taken a lot of crap this season so they deserve a little credit for the effort today in a tough place to go and win. Could have easily mailed it in, but they stepped up and played toughwmmmfan wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 3:30 pm This game demonstrated why defense is important, the D kept UMass in the game with a chance to win in the 4th quarter. Defense played very well. Cant exactly say same for offense with 4 turnovers, but played hard. Agree the play calling was much better not counting the poor choice to try to score from your side of the field with 30 seconds before half. All players played hard with passion. Have to give Miller credit for that. Cant remember last time I enjoyed watching Umass football. Since Arizona played yesterday DB may have been watching.

Anyone see the end of the ECU/Navy game yesterday? A freshman walk on kicker for ECU hit a 53 FG to win it. Why can't we find that?
