Homecoming?? Crappy crowd and humiliated by an undermanned FCS team. This has to rank as one of the worst defeats in the annals of Aggie/Redmen/Minutemen history. Like losing to Springfield college in hoops, in the Civic Center. I'm out.

We have been crapped on for the last ~5 years. Sadly many UMass fans have looked up, smiled, and said "thank you." Some are starting to turn, but not enough. Bamford, Bell, and McCall need to go. This isn't a joke anymore. UMass athletics is in serious...well, crap. People have got to wake up, take a step back, and look where we are.

Have to say, this is jarring. Not just to lose, but to lose miserably and look like you just don't care. Zero energy... on homecoming. I don't know where to to go from here. I had a great weekend doing other things at UMass, and this just sucked the wind out of everything. Definitely time to take a big step back. I want to be supportive, but this is just too much.

If any of this involved "looking past" little FCS Rhody that's on the coach. It's disgusting how this game played out.

Who cares anymore, there is the transfer portal. Most of these kids are just not that good.

This was disgusting. Bell should RESIGN IMMEDIATELY and Jim Reid should be appointed interim head coach for the rest of the season.

I just hope Merriweather stays another year and we have an experienced head coach that can build an offense around him.

Bell is in over his head as a new coach in a very tough situation where the administration is doing him no favors by remaining in the archaic Atlantic 10. Time to move on from nostalgia.
