Game 7: Florida State October 23rd noon
Re: Game 7: Florida State October 23rd noon
Gained 12 yards so far. At $1.5 Million payout for the game, that's a great pay rate per yard!

At least they got a couple of first downs and flipped the field position. Big drive here for the defense to keep it from a blowout.

Looking pretty good so far. I’d like to a turnover here - scoop and score.

Agreed. Looks like they're giving it everything they've got and the first quarter went about as well as you could hope for. Just afraid that the D will get worn down soon. Also a bit lucky on the dropped INT.

The D can make plays. They’ve gotten real good penetration on quite a few occasions and made contact with the ball carrier well behind the line of scrimmage.
Unfortunately those plays don’t matter when you regularly give up 30+ yard gash plays. FSU was pinned behind their own 10 and promptly sprinted down the field twice now. Will never beat a decent team giving up drives like that.

Great play by Olson to Merriweather ! UMass coming out w/some crazy offensive formations but they moving the ball into scoring position - 1st and goal UMass! Hopefully we can get the TD here .

Ugh picked in the End Zone …. Can’t throw there into double coverage …. Olson is a true freshman

Pretty sure Olson leads the nation in terrible throws. Give Zamar some run to see what he can do. Hopefully Lytle is back next week
Re: Game 7: Florida State October 23rd noon
Could we offer the 1.5 million back to FSU if they took Bell back? This could be an all timer for the defense today
Re: Game 7: Florida State October 23rd noon
Talent gap. That's a big part of those gash plays.

The optimistic posts from the first couple of possessions today against FSU … haven’t aged well.

Wise needs to play the rest of the game. Olson has killed any positive movement by the offense.

This was pretty much the expected result.
