I'll always support the team but this is unacceptably bad.

Florida State is 3-4 in a very average ACC. This is pretty depressing as there is no end to this in sight.

UMass is already playing two FCS teams this year. I believe you can play up to 5 FCS teams per year. But only one of those wins would count towards bowl eligibility.

UMass needs to play at least one, but in some cases a couple of P5 teams each year to make FBS financially sustainable. This is no different from any other G5 team. Whether you're independent or CUSA, MAC, etc. they all play at least one guarantee game to help bring in some revenue.

The remainder (8-10 games) is playing G5 teams. I think they've tried to schedule "winnable" games in this slate. But who knew Coastal would be a Top 15 team within a few years of their transition?

I think the strength of the schedule is realistically about as weak as you could make it considering they have to schedule years in advance. Unless if they reduced the concern of bowl eligibility (since they don't have bowl ties anyway) and moved to an untraditional 3-4 FCS games and 7-8 G5 games.

Coaching gap. FSU stinks.

Back in his troll hole until UMass loses by a couple of TDs to URI/Maine and says the program is improving...

About the game: $1.5.

Jacksonville State, who beat FSU, lost today to old friend K.C Keeler's Sam Houston State 42 - 7.

UMass is not even a competitive FCS level program.

I’m sure he does. He’ll also tell you the offense made strides between the 9-2 minute marks of q2.

Did bell make any comments to the media after the game? It’s pathetic the Umass coverage in the dhg. Kyle whatever barely even tweets the games. At least the Walfish cared.

I listened to the whole game (don’t have ACC network) and was surprised there was no interview with Bell after. It’s not a covid thing- they interview Carvel postgame in hockey…
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

Leave the A-10!

Well, the trip itself was fun at least.

I give you credit for going. Probably the. Worst time you had there was the game itself. A good friend of mine was one of the officials. I rather doubt he was too impressed with our dismal performance.
