Game 5: Toledo

Post by LS71 » Thu Sep 30, 2021 8:39 am

I had the craziest dream last night. In it UMass beat Toledo 71-49--- Holy Toledo! Must've been something I ate!

Game Five: Toledo

Post by dennisdent » Thu Sep 30, 2021 8:40 am

Guess somebody had to start this for the week, or what is left of it...

I think this is really important game to gain some momentum going into the the Toilet Bowl next week against UConn. Toledo is a much better team then UMass on paper(who isn't, I know) so the team will have to really show some fight to not get blown out. I think this would be a good game to sit Olson and start Dzuro and see how he runs the offense. If he does well, he could start against UConn and this would go towards Olson saving his redshirt year.

If they lose, I wonder what excuse Bell will use this time...

GO UMASS!

I'm just glad you got the game # right this time

I have no fucking idea what to expect this weekend. Two weeks ago I thought this might be winnable. After last week with the ineptness of the D, I'm now thinking there's no way we can score enough to score more than them. UGH.

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst...

Also of note: Might this be the last time we see Brady this season? This will be his 4th game...

I'm assuming Lytle is going to be out for a while with his wrist injury.
They need to play the best QB available. In the age of instant eligibility transfers, there's limited upside to redshirting Olson.

Let's shoot to not be down 21-0 before the first quarter is over. Is that too much to ask?

I'd be shocked if Brady Olson stuck around at UMass

So, in your dream, did we really run the score up and go for two on our tenth touchdown?

Or.....

Did you have a dyslexic dream and we actually lost 17-49?

I asked for that last game. They skipped over 21 with the missed xp and safety.

10 TDs and a FG, but 2 missed PATs.

Let's see how the season finishes out... if it remains a dumpster fire, I'll be very concerned as well.

What is tomorrow's moral victory meter? That they keep it close through three quarters? The offensive line gets a good push? They win the opening coin toss?

Crowd might be the best of the year! 13k?!
