Re: Game two: BC
Olson is really impressive!
Re: Game two: BC
I mean I'll take 3 offensive TDs in a single quarter. Even if it had a lot to do with BC mistakes.
Olson seems legit. I like the kid out there.

A lot of build off of. Also nice to see Bell letting Olson open it up a bit. The biggest thing is these guy will come out of this game and say to themselves "we can play with these guys".. that's huge for confidence. Especially when your used to losing.

I like this playbook much better that the one Bell was using earlier!!
Re: Game two: BC
You know what. I'm actually excited for football this year, so long as we keep playing Olson. He's earned starting again.

Re: Game two: BC
BC has made a ton of mental mistakes in this one, A TON! But they’ve also made some great plays like the ACC team they are.
UMass has shown the most potential today than any other game under Bell. They’ve shown real improvement from week 1 and the players look like they believe in themselves. They were never going to win this game, but if they can continue on a positive trajectory we will all be happy come November.

Ahhh... I feel bad for him.. made the right read and just missed. As for starting Olson more I feel Lytle is pretty good and saving his redshirt would be nice

Re: Game two: BC
Agreed. Lytle had 0 time last game and should get the chance to show what he’s got with a somewhat competent pass protection. Love what Olson has shown though.TheInsider wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 5:31 pm Ahhh... I feel bad for him.. made the right read and just missed. Re: Game two: BC
Either BC is way worse defensively than we all thought or else Olson should be the starter against EMU.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.
Leave the A-10!

Re: Game two: BC
Just a lack of focus I think when they've given up the big play. Usually after we've made a few good plays or scored, then give one up. Little discipline issues with staying focused. Better than I was anticipating today, give the team credit
