Tyler Lytle, a former ESPN Top 300 recruit. Didn’t have a chance at Colorado but I expect him to be our Week 1 starter.

Lytle looks promising. Nice size at 6'5". Nice high school football stats and GPA and, being a business major, may have been lured by the quality of an Isenberg degree.

Looks like we picked up a GT tackle with 2 to play. No idea how good he is but it's a position where we need help.

Re: 2021 Recruiting
currently ranked 108 on 247's 2001 recruiting table. Anyone know if transfers are included when ranking a school's class?
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.
Re: 2021 Recruiting
Transfers don't count. Maybe they will count when they enroll in school. If you look at the 247 page, it shows 18 commits; 13 signed and 5 "hard commits". The transfers are listed at the bottom but not in the count.

Outside of the latest addition Parish, all our transfers were rated higher coming out of HS than anyone in our current class... As a matter of fact 2 of them rate higher on 247 than any rated recruit we've ever had. The rating would go up.. probably by a lot

Re: 2021 Recruiting
But coming out of HS their rating was based on potential, if they met their college potential, they more than likely would be staying where they are. So, you can’t automatically put them back to their HS rating.TheInsider wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 11:43 am Outside of the latest addition Parish, all our transfers were rated higher coming out of HS than anyone in our current class... Re: 2021 Recruiting
Your right.. there are plenty that dont live up to that potential.. but they could also be stuck behind someone who's just better or maybe they want more PT.. doesn't mean every transfer never lived up to their potential.

^ Correct, but it doesn’t mean that everyone did, which was in the previous post.

Given our lack of success I was going for the glass half full outlook.

The signing period is Feb 3 with a live show on NESN at noon. Probably will be streamed on the Athletic site.
