Great for Isaiah and his family; also good for the UMass football program!
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Outstanding. Isaiah's hard work and commitment paid off. Also, Jack Driscoll went to the Eagles in the fourth round.

Huge news for Isaiah, really pumped when I saw him get selected! Well deserved!

Also huge for the program. If we can get 1 guy drafted a year, that is enough to showcase that players at UMass can in fact make the NFL and get drafted, consistency is key. And it's not easy getting drafted of course. I mean hey, here's a great example: no one on the Rutgers squad got drafted this year, but UMass did.

Hoping he sticks. I think he has NFL level coverage skills.

I'm thinking at the very least he'll earn a roster spot on special teams, and then be able to work his way into the defensive backfield. Can't forget about how good of a returner he is as well.

^ I have to imagine he's in the drivers seat for return duty from the jump.

He was just cited in the Baltimore Sun as Colt's biggest sleeper pick. They picked 1 per NFL team.

https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/nfl-draft/

UMass cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (Round 6, No. 211)

Rodgers, the cousin of former NFL cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, might not make an immediate impact at corner, but he probably will on special teams. He reportedly ran the 40-yard dash in 4.28 seconds, just .01 of a second behind top combine performer Henry Ruggs III, and averaged 23.6 yards per kick return and 7.4 yards per punt return at UMass.

@UMassFootball is posting a countdown of Isaiah's Top Ten Plays, doing two per day. Good fun.

Cant believe the Colts went for it on 4th and goal, then got stuffed. Kick the fg and take the 3 pts

And now he has had two interceptions nullified - one on an offside call on a lineman and one where a review said he didn't maintain possession. He's getting time because of injuries.

UMass mentioned.
