Game 10: "The Greatest Gameday Experience in America"

If you are going, you might want to read this:

I just dug out the ankle length padded parka that I last wore to the Fenway Ice Bowl against Maine two years ago.

Don’t think I will ever go to another game that cold! Projected high is 40, low is 29.

Will UMass stay on pace to break the NCAA records for most points allowed in a season and highest average points allowed per game in a season?

Last year's UConn team holds both; 50.4 points per game; 605 points overall.

UMass has given up 468 points in 9 games...52 points per game.

It's come to the point that my financial wellbeing this weekend is dependent on UMass getting blown out. Spread is currently -34.5 for Army. A bettor I respect said typically the spread in his power rankings would be 50 points between the best and worst team in the country... His current power rankings would have Ohio State -60 if they played UMass and that is because UMass is historically bad, not because Ohio State is historically good.

Was toying with the idea of going. Saw hockey at Army once, and enjoyed a rare OT win under Michelleto. Also enjoyed the campus. Would be nice to see a football game there. Then my car had mercy on my soul today and broke down on the way to work. It’s been an extremely dependable car, and now has my fullest recommendation now that I know it has my best interests at heart
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

Leave the A-10!

I highly recommend going to the game. I went the last time we played there probably about 10 - 15 years ago and it is quite a spectacle. Just wear your cold weather clothes and enjoy the pageantry of the academy.

Part of three rooms in Fishkill. Dinner and drinks at Sloop Brewing Company after Happy Hour at the hotel.

I was going to record the FB game as I streamed the BB game. Unfortunately CBS sports channel is an extra package with a $ 20 /mo charge. Not worth paying that to watch us get humiliated by Army. Probably just as well.

This game just feels right. Army vs. Massachusetts.
