But not one from their arch-rival, the South Dakota School of Yours!

We won. "Excited for my next chapter!"
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

Not necessarily. A kid chose Monmouth over our FBS offer. Kids choose where they feel they fit.

He's 6'4 or 6'5 so he has that going for him.

Just a guess, but suspect only +/- 2/3 of the verbals will sign early. Usually there are kids who are hoping to get a late offer from their "dream school" in the late signing period.

A note from Athletics.....
"Football early signing period begins Wednesday at 7 a.m. and continues through Friday. No special events planned for the early period, but we’ll be pushing out info in real-time on the signees this week as they become official. Keep an eye out as well the next several weeks for information about events during the regular signing period (February)."

There is an NLI signing luncheon tentatively scheduled on 2/5

Brady Martin announced on his twitter that he will be signing in February, and he didn't say signing with UMASS. If I had to guess, he wants to see how it plays out with the other QB recruit (Villardi?). I imagine the only appeal in coming to UMass for football at this point is the ability to be a 4 year starter. If that's in jeopardy, I don't blame him for waiting to see if he gets recruited over.
