And then he returns as our head coach when Whip retires?
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

^ That's not a bad plan!

Congrats to Liam. I'm sure he'll do a great job up there.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

Good for him, but I feel like this is a sizable loss for UMass. It seemed like the players really liked him. Hopefully we can bring in someone to get the best out of Comis.

Maybe I am jumping to conclusions but I assume Woody is going to take over at QB coach. http://www.umassathletics.com/sports/m- ... 80091.html

Announced today that Woody is the new QB coach.

Matt Dawson joined the staff, and some other changes. http://m.umassathletics.com/m/sports/m- ... 16aaa.html

Just so 7 years into reign we can have a 18 page thread entitled "Fire Liam".

If he is as bad a head coach as DK it might not take 7 years. :D

Looks like Liam is in the mix for the Kentucky offensive coordinator job. He is really moving fast if he gets the job! Great for him and wish we had a coach like Liam.

Can Kentucky recruit enough to become relevant in the SEC over the long term? I am not sure...

Looks like the jobs Liam's! Great for him!

I have say UMass has a lot of former players that have gone to be really good coaches.
