Whip was/is the best HC this school has ever had. I'm going to pray for Don Brown to take that title but until DB shows his defensive genius, Whip is the best. We had 2 morons in Molnar & Coach Numbnuts but Whip is an Ivy Leaguer and total professional.

Whip won the NC with Don Brown.. had a losing season without him.. DB went to the NC game and never had a losing season.. also made BC the #1 defense in the country..... BC...

If it's best resume, then Dick MacPherson wins and it's no contest.

DB is the best coach we have had. Hands down the best winning percentage.

Mark Whipple has a National Championship here. As of 9/1/2022, that's your answer.

Dick MacPherson by a mile! UMass football games were a big deal in those days. He won an actual Bowl Game and Beat BC in front of a packed house in Amherst (I was there). They say it was 20,000 and it was rocking!

Interesting situation for Whipple now. I wonder if he took the job with the thought that if Frost does get canned, he might be in line to move into the HC role.
