I totally agree with you.. My bet is Casula is back.. they will blame we had no QB.. which we didn't

Nebraska's top 2 recruits for next year just decommitted - coincidentally Watson said last week he had grown very close to them - would not surprise me a bit after the championship game tomorrow Watson announces he is decommitting also.

Yeah but the one position we feel comfortable at going forward is QB with Haston.

I realize the weather in the division 1 super bowl was awful.....but Watson was not impressive at all.....punting was poor also

They don’t punt much so I’m not sure he has much experience punting in a downpour. SJP took Central out of the game with their physical play right from the jump.
The SJP running back Carson Brown was tremendous, shade of Rene.

Brian St Pierre might have been the best play caller in Foxboro all year. Any chance he leaves SJP for a chance to run his home state’s offense?

I don't want to sound like doom and gloom, but I don't think Haston is a lock to be here next year. He doesn't have "UMass Commit" on his twitter page although I'm not sure if he ever did. I just feel that with the other FL guys bailing he might also.

He must've had an off day. Given his body of work and accomplishments over the course of his HS career, he gets a pass from me. I don't knoe enough of Massachusetts HS football history. How many schools have won three straight state championships? I'd bet that other than Central - certainly none from the 413.

I'd love to see him at UMass!

I saw DB offered Carson Browne a PWO spot today, young man was excellent on Saturday eating up the clock on the ground.

I feel better today about Haston. He tweeted a "You know what to do" comment to a potential recruit with a flagship emoji.

I was half right; he de-committed from Nebraska. He verbally committed to Virginia Tech.

Is he able to change his mind again since he has not signed yet?

^. He can commit himself as many times as he sees fit!
Luckily, “commit” is not one of the words on his SAT

Based on today’s Springfield paper, he’s all in at VA Tech:

That’d be a dream.

Anybody else annoyed the thanksgiving day game no longer counts toward the regular season schedule and playoffs in MA high school football? Hate that, it’s just an exhibition game now. That used to be the make or break game for many schools getting into the Super Bowl.

The MIAA has become a joke related to playoff seeding for both football and basketball.
